And she was absolutely right—it was perfect.
Valentina understood our vision on a deep level, blending my Romanian heritage with my husband's American background in a way that felt natural and meaningful. Her European touch made everything even more special, ensuring no detail was overlooked. She curated an incredible team of vendors that suited us perfectly, and her genuine passion for what she does turned what could have been a stressful process into something we truly enjoyed. My husband and I looked forward to every one of our planning meetings! Our menu tasting and wedding mockup remain some of our most cherished memories to this day, all because of her thoughtful and personal approach.
On the big day, everything ran flawlessly. Not a single hiccup, not a single detail missed. Valentina was by our side every step of the way, always knowing exactly what to say and how to handle every moment with grace and confidence. My husband and I can't say enough about Valentina! V went above and beyond from start to finish in planning and executing our dream wedding. Being a first time fiancé (and now wifey), navigating the world of weddings is intimidating. V’s expertise in event planning and the wedding industry has essentially allowed us to work closely with other reputable vendors due to her strong relationships. And being able to work with this dream team of talented individuals helped us create the wedding of our dreams.
What really sets V apart from other wedding planners is her creativity, love for design, as well as her dedication to her clients- When we were trying to figure out different design options, I told V what I had envisioned everything to look. Instead of taking the vision and running with it, she took it and then sketched out different table arrangements and flower design options on her own time for me to then choose from. It meant a lot to me to have a wedding planner that is not only so passionate about design, but one that goes above and beyond to make sure she could deliver something for me that was as close to how I wanted it to be.
V was also brilliant about keeping in touch and communicating. My husband and I live in Seattle and had our wedding in San Diego and we needed a planner that was communicative and reliable. V always kept us informed in each step of the planning process and was transparent about what to expect while being very open-minded and receptive to our unique ideas as well. She always made sure we felt heard and understood and made us feel like our wedding was her number one priority.
A few weeks leading up to the wedding, I was unfortunately involved in a car accident and as overwhelmed as any bride can be leading up to their big day, V thought of everything she could think of to lessen the stress I was feeling on my end. Because my hand was in a cast and I still needed to write my vows, V offered to print, cut, and glue our vows into our vow books for us on the actual day. And on the day itself, our venue had quite a number of problems, but at no point did Valentina even show that these issues were happening; calm and composed, she took everything in stride, and we literally had nothing to bother or worry about because she had everything covered.
Valentina is professional and personable, organized, reliable with time management, and honestly the best wedding planner and friend we could’ve met in this industry. She is an absolute gem. My husband and I say all the time that she was the best investment we ever made for our wedding and if any future bride is looking for someone that goes out of their way and sees to it that everything is just the way you want it to be, then Valentina is the planner for you! We can’t recommend or thank her enough for all that she’s done for us.
