Villa Olmo was built at the end of the 18th century and the constructions was finished in 1812 by Marquesses Odescalchi. It belonged to different important families such as the Raimondi and Visconti di Modrone.

 

In 1925 Como municipality transformed it into a cultural center that soon became home of many events and art exhibitions. Villa Olmo has a beautiful park all around it with one side directly facing the lake.
